U.S. President Donald Trump is a big fan of taxing goods imported from other countries. That tax is called a tariff – and Mr. Trump has long warned that he planned to impose stiff tariffs on products from Mexico, China and Canada, among other nations.
On February 1, Mr. Trump signed an executive order slapping a massive 25 percent tariff on most goods entering the U.S. from Mexico and Canada. Canadian energy products, like oil and natural gas, face a smaller 10 percent tariff.
