On February 8, the 2025 Invictus Games kick off in Vancouver and Whistler. Up to 550 participants from as many as 25 countries will take part in the nine-day event.

This is the seventh Invictus Games for current and former military personnel and veterans. Canada is hosting the Games for the second time. Two new countries, Brazil and Lithuania, are competing this year. So is a team of Afghan refugees called Afghan Unconquered.
